Acadia is one of the more popular areas in South East Calgary, Alberta. It is the area that has Heritage Drive to the North, Southland Drive to the South, Macleod trail to the west, and Bow River to the East. This was land annexed by the city in 1956 and Acadia was developed beginning 1960s. It is an approximate 3.9 km. square.
Much of Acadia Real Estate is in the business district that is concentrated along Fairmount Drive. Acadia Public Transport
The Heritage C-train passes through Acadia. There are public bus routes including Route 10 that serves north and south via Fairmont Dr., Routes 79 and 80 in the west, and Route 39 in the east.

Both condos and townhouses can be found in Acadia. In 2016, the price range was $140k to $450k. 19 condos and 10 townhouses were sold in the same year. In 2017, there are about 2,020 condo units available.
