ABOUT THE COMMUNITY OF EDGEMONT
Edgemont is a unique community in Calgary’s North West. With community development beginning in 1978 and construction continuing into the 1980’s and 1990’s homes in this neighbourhood feature larger yards and open spaces. Volunteers and a close-knit community are at the foundation of one of the cities largest residential developments.
Edgemont is a beautiful NorthWest residential community. Edgemont has lots of parks and provides a very family friendly neighborhood, just north of the community of Dalhousie, Edgemont has John Laurie Boulevard as a south round and Sarcee Trail towards the North West.
Edgemont has easy access to the large and beautiful public Nose Hill Park. The community has steep escarpments on the south end of the neighborhood and has an elevation of 1245m. This high elevation creates gorgeous panoramic views of the Calgary downtown and also a glimpse of the rocky mountains to the west.
